The lights are definitely visible in daylight. The included resistors keep you from having "ricer flash" and all of the leds have lasted a couple months now. You DO have to cut the fiberglass behind the lights on your truck for these to fit into the holes on a stepside ranger. To alleviate the issue with the bulb sockets not fitting I just siliconed the holes on the lights and let the wires hang inside the body, they will not fit the original bulb socket location on the truck.
